Friday/January 29 was a day of doing almost nothing. Since I had been fairly busy during the week, I opted to stay home all day and relax. I worked in the morning, later went for a run, and then hung out at the house the rest of the day. Saturday was originally going to be an incredibly busy day for me, so I wanted to be well rested.
Saturday morning we all went over to M and T's for breakfast. I then worked a couple of hours. HP took the kids to the playground while I went to the grocery store to pick up food for the week. I came home and did some miscellaneous chores while I waited for everyone to get back. I spent the afternoon hanging around the house with the family. HM and I had a long conversation about what I wanted to do after this year and how I was going to accomplish that. I had another date that evening. We met up in town and went around to a bunch of bars I'd never been to. It was cool to see more parts of the city that I hadn't seen before.
Sunday I went out to Ansbach and hung out with Adam. We went to the commissary on the military base so I could buy some Honey Nut Cheerios. Adam works on base and therefore can bring guests on base. There aren't many American foods that I miss enough to want to purchase on base, but I had recently been craving some Cheerios. We went bowling afterwards. I love bowling, I'm just not very good at it. We were going to go see a movie too, but we were both too tired and I wanted to head home. I got home around 7 and spent the rest of the evening relaxing.
